3 )可以接受that宾语从句，that从句是should+动词原形，should可以省略。

4)advise可以连接动词不定形复合宾语，propose可以连接不定形作为宾语。

iadvisedhimtogiveupthefoolishidea.= isuggested/proposed his/himgivingupthefoolishidea .我建议他放弃那个愚蠢的想法。 ( suggest和propose用口语连接名词的复合宾语)。

weproposedtostartearly.= weproposedstartingearly .我建议你早点出发。 (不定形不使用suggest和advise )

二、有“提出”的意思。

/ hesuggestedadifferentplantohisboss .他向上司提出了另一个计划。

小王gsuggestedawaytosolvetheproblem .王先生提出了处理这个问题的方法。

三、有“含蓄、表明”的意思，其主语往往是事物，不是一个人。

1 )以名词或动名词为宾语。

thesimplehousesuggestedamodestincome .这所简朴的房子表示(房主的)收入不高。

her pale face suggested bad health .她脸色苍白，好像身体不好。

thethoughtofsummersuggestswimming .一想到夏天，就联想到游泳。

2 )与宾语从句相接，从句是陈述语气。 例如:

thedecisionsuggestedthathemightbringhisfamily .这个决策表明他可以带家人来。

theexpressiononhisfacesuggestedthathewasveryangry .他脸上的表情表明他很生气。

四、主语从句it is suggested that…以及名词suggestion之后表示具体提案的表语从句、同所词从句都适用should+动词原形，should可以省略。 例如:

我建议在itwassuggestedthatwe ( should ) giveaperformanceattheparty .派对上表演节目。

hissuggestionwasthatthedebts ( should ) bepaidoffirst .他的建议是首先偿还债务。

thedoctorsmadeasuggestionthatthenewhospital ( should ) notbesetuponthehill .医生们建议不要在山上建新医院。
